Show Control for Live Events

Description

Students enrolled in this course design and execute live musical and theatrical performances. Considering the artist’s vision as well as established sonic elements, students will design environments for triggering and mixing interactive musical events in real time. Specific focus is placed on integrating sound, lighting, video, and music events with industry standard tools such as Ableton Live for live music playback engineering and Q-Lab for theater-style show control.
