Beatboxing and Looping Techniques

Description

This hands-on course explores beatboxing, looping, and vocal percussion. Students will learn the fundamentals of microphone technique, breath control, and important grooves and fills. They will also gain a deeper understanding of how to incorporate bass and melodic elements into their performances, as well as how to utilize looping techniques to create complex and layered soundscapes. Through guided exercises and collaborative projects, students will develop their own personal vocal percussion style and explore the history and evolution of beatboxing as an art form. By the end of the course, students will have gained a thorough understanding of the techniques and principles of beatboxing and vocal percussion, as well as the confidence to create and perform their own original compositions.
