How to Submit Your Transcripts for Admission to Berklee NYC
While the portfolio provides us with a wealth of information to assess each applicant's ability to succeed at Berklee NYC, we also require transcripts from your college or university before an admissions decision can be made. Applicants need to successfully complete their bachelor’s degree in order to start the master's degree program. Do not submit transcripts for additional degrees or for high school. If you are in the final year of your bachelor's degree program, you must submit your official transcripts for initial review. After graduation, you will be required to submit your official, final transcripts or proof of graduation in order to matriculate.
International Students: Transcripts from institutions outside the US or Canada must be evaluated by an approved third-party credential evaluation service. Read more.
International Applicants: Attended college/university outside the US or Canada
Transcripts from institutions outside the US or Canada must be evaluated by an approved third-party credential evaluation service. We recommend that students use the Evaluation Company (formally SpanTran) to complete the application for a credential evaluation.
Although we encourage students to use the Evaluation Company (formally SpanTran), we do accept credential evaluation reports from any of the following companies:
- Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE)
- International Education Research Foundation (IERF)
- World Education Services (WES)
- National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES)
All reports must be course-by-course, and all must include a grade point average/grade equivalencies; please make sure this is included in your report.
If you have not yet finished your degree, you must submit a credential evaluation report of all your courses completed thus far. If admitted to Berklee NYC, you will be required to submit proof of graduation from your college or university before enrolling at Berklee.
