For applicants who attended college/university in the U.S or Canada:

Digital Submission (preferred method #1)

Many schools use digital transcript delivery services to send official transcripts to our office. Examples of common services include but are not limited to:

When using a digital transcript delivery service, you will be prompted to select a recipient institution to receive your transcripts. Look for us listed as “Berklee,” “Berklee College,” or “Berklee College of Music.”

Via Email (preferred method #2)

For documents that you are unable to submit via a digital transcript delivery service, your college or university should email documents to admissions@berklee.edu, but note that we only accept documents sent via email if provided directly by the issuing institution.

Via Mail (discouraged)

For documents that you are unable to submit via digital delivery service or email, your college or university should mail documents to:

Berklee NYC
Office of Admissions

1140 Boylston Street
Boston, MA 02215

If you choose to mail your transcript and other supporting documents yourself, please do so by registered mail so your documents can be tracked.

Please make copies of all documents for your records and, whenever possible, mail all supporting documents together in one envelope.

All transcripts must be postmarked on or before the posted deadline date. Please anticipate a 2–3 week delay in processing any materials received via paper mail and plan accordingly for all deadlines.

For applicants who attended college/university outside the U.S. or Canada:

Transcripts from institutions outside the U.S. or Canada must be evaluated by an approved third-party credential evaluation service. We recommend that students use SpanTran to complete the application for a credential evaluation.

Although we encourage students to use SpanTran, we do accept credential evaluation reports from any of the following companies:

All reports must be course-by-course, and all must include a grade point average/grade equivalencies; please make sure this is included in your report.

If you have not yet finished your degree, you must submit a credential evaluation report of all your courses completed thus far. If admitted to Berklee NYC, you will be required to submit proof of graduation from your college or university before enrolling at Berklee.
