Yoga

Yoga is a mind and body practice with origins in ancient Indian philosophy. There are various styles of yoga that typically combine physical postures, breathing techniques, and meditation or relaxation. This practice has been shown to increase muscular strength, flexibility, and improve balance, as well as relieve pain and increase mental clarity and relaxation in participants.

This specialized practice combines yoga techniques with the unique needs of musicians. Work with yoga instructor and musician Christopher Stanley to improve posture, flexibility, and mental focus, helping musicians prevent injuries and enhance their performance. This includes stretches to release tension in the neck, shoulders, and wrists, as well as breathing exercises to promote relaxation and concentration.
