Fall 2026 Registration
The Fall 2026 registration period begins on June 9, 2026.
Incoming Students: Fall 2026
- June 9, 2026: Course preview opens. You can begin browsing sections and planning your schedule.
- June 22, 2026: Registration opens for all incoming BerkleeNYC students.
Returning Students: Fall 2026
Students not currently enrolled at BerkleeNYC but intending to return for the summer and/or fall 2026 semesters must complete the Returning Student Intent Form to be eligible for registration.
- Fall 2026 deadline to submit: August 14, 2026

Before You Register
- Clear your restrictions listed on the Registration Profile screen in your my.berklee.edu account. If you have active restrictions, you will not be eligible to register for courses until restrictions are cleared. View instructions here.
- Review your program grid to confirm which courses you need to take this semester.
- 2026–2027 Program Course Grids
- In addition to your core required courses, you may add 1 Elective and 1 Lab to your schedule, these are optional and not required.

Planning and Registering: Step-by-Step Directions
How to Register for Classes
- Go to my.berklee.edu.
- From the home menu, click Course Catalogue — or navigate to Academics → Course Planning from the dropdown.
- Under Advanced Search, set the following filters:
- Term: 2026 Fall Term
- Location: New York Power Station
- Leave all other filters blank.
- Click Search, you'll now see only courses offered at BerkleeNYC this fall.
- Use your Program Grid identify your required courses and elective.
- For each course, click the red "Click to View Available Sections..."
- Select your preferred section and click "Add Section to Schedule" → "Add Section." (If the section is full, choose another.)
- Repeat for each required course on your program grid.
- When finished, go to Academics → Plan and Schedule in the sidebar to review your selections.
- Click Register Now to confirm your registration.

Check my.berklee.edu to view any restrictions on your account that would prevent you from registering. View instructions here.
Each semester, all students must complete the Student Acknowledgement of Financial and Other Obligation Forms (SAFO). View instructions on how to clear your SAFO restriction.

Frequently Asked Questions
What should I do if a course section I want is closed?
Please select an alternative section or register for a different course.
If these options do not exist, contact the course chair to request a population waiver. If a waiver is granted, you will be eligible to register for the course.
Why can't I register for my planned courses?
In some cases, a course section may close before a student's registration time opens. You should select alternative backup sections for courses on your planned schedule.
You should also refresh your planned schedule in the days leading up to your registration time to reflect accurate seat availability.
